Stanley Old Men Over 40s - Defibrillator Fund

Hi, I’m fundraising in the hope of raising £1,500 in the hope our Stanley over 40’s football club can buy a mobile defibrillator.

The reasoning behind this is due to one of our players suffering from a heart attack while playing on Saturday 24th August. The quick thinking of some of our players and a nurse got him breathing again until paramedics arrived. The events of that morning will stay with us forever and we really, really need this mobile piece of kit.

So, I along with a couple of close friends plan on cycling from Whitehaven to Sunderland over the Course of Saturday 14th and 15th September to raise the required amount.
