It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of Curt Staropoli on July 4, 2018. Curt was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Curt leaves behind two amazing children, Sam 17 and Ava 15.
As we all mourn, we scramble to find how best to direct our efforts and help ease the difficult avenue that lies ahead for Sam and Ava, They are now left without their father, one of their cornerstones of supprt, their best friend, and provider.
In his memory, this fund was established to provide the resources for Curt’s children to pursue their dreams, academic ambitions and higher education goals.
As a devoted father and writer, Curt spent many hours sharing the love of having kids, giving insight and advise on parenting, which accumulated 7k followers. Curt was the author of Single White Dad (SWD) where he tried to capture his take on navigating the new world of parenting as a single dad.
SWD says: “There is an inherent selflessness in parenting the right way that you cannot get from anything else on Earth”
Curt and his zest for life, love, and laughter will be forever missed by his family and friends.
