Stars & Stripes 5K for a Cause, Support Rising Stars Academy

Donate & Register for our Annual Stars & Stripes 5K—our 3rd Annual Fundraiser in partnership with the Washington Capitals!

Last year's 5K was a massive hit, and we're thrilled to bring it back this year! Lace-up your shoes and join us for another casual run/walk/ride along the scenic waters of the Chesapeake Bay.

100% of your registration donation supports Rising Stars Academy, a co-ed program that provides elite skill development and mentorship for local hockey players of color at no cost to participants.

We THANK YOU for your generosity and enthusiasm. We encourage a $25 donation per 5K participant, but donations of ALL sizes are appreciated. Your donation will directly impact the lives of young hockey players in our community, which uplifts everyone!

When donating, please indicate the number of participants in your family or group, and your race packets will be ready and waiting.

If you've never done a 5K before, don't worry. This is a casual, family-friendly 5K for all ages. Last year, there were runners, walkers, bikers, and even scooters, plus folks in golf carts passing out water. The atmosphere is one of inclusivity and fun, so we warmly invite you to join in, no matter what your fitness level.

Also, you do not have to participate in the 5K to donate. We accept donations from all supporters and count on you to help spread the word. Together, we can ensure that more players have access to the game we all love!
