Stars&Stripes Project-shed for Agape Center

My name is Alexis Decker and I am working on earning the Stars and Stripes, the highest award in American Heritage Girls (AHG), a character-building program I have been involved with since 2014. For my Stars and Stripes project, I will be building a storage shed for the Agape Center in Vinton, Virginia. The Agape Center is a non-profit Christ-centered organization that provides Christian counseling, food, clothes, and a variety of other amenities to low-income families in the surrounding communities.

The Agape Center has informed me that they have an issue with gardening and outdoor maintenance materials being stolen off their property. The project is a locking storage shed that I will be building to store their outdoor equipment.

I am shooting to raise $2,200 to cover materials, some tools, snacks for volunteers, and incidentals. We plan to begin work in early August. I will need to complete fundraising ASAP! Any and all remaining funds left unused at the end of the project will go directly to the Agape Center of Vinton. Thank you for help!!
