start a grassroots political movement, the Forward Party

Hi,

My name is Amr, a year and a half ago, I lost all hope in Canada's existing political system after finding out two things:

On one side, the Liberals and NDP failed at handling every crisis they faced and just offered band-aids.

On the other side, the Conservatives are pointing all the failures while promising slightly different band-aids.

So I thought, why not do the democratic thing, and start a movement that offers real solutions. A movement that can unite Canadians from all walks of life behind a better type of politics.

A politics that is focused on pursuing the best policies, not voter segments.

A politics that thinks about the long term, not the next election.

A politics that unites differences, not exploit them for culture war points.

So I came up with a name, and started building a website where I documented all the research and solutions I found. Started posting online and met like-minded people.

Unfortunately, someone else with more money settled on the same name, and long story short, we are now The Forward Party.

I still believe that there is potential here for something wonderful, something for the history books to look back proudly on. And that is why I want to make the Forward Party happen.

The problem is that I just cannot fund it by myself anymore, and this is why I am asking you for your help.

The initial goal of $5,000 will cover some of the past expenses. These include annual fees for:

The stretch goal of $10,000 will cover all of the past expenses with room to spare for next year's fees. With the extra funds we will:

$30,000 and beyond will help me make the Forward Party my full time job. I will be able to start a proper organization and dramatically increase the rate of updates.
