Working with Animals

Hi, my name is Laura, I am raising money to finally realise my dream of working with animals.

A bit about me, this is by no means a pity party but how I have ended up where I am. In 2018 my dad fell down the stairs and ended up with a TBI traumatic brain injury, this has developed in to dementia now, myself and my sister have been supporting in his care for the past 5 years, I have also been holding down a high pressured job which was taking to the point of suicide.

In July of this year, I myself had an accident, resulting in a head injury and surgery to put a metal plate in my face.

I am now ready to reinvent myself, I never want to be in that mental health bad place ever again.

This brings me on to my cause, I have been given the amazing opportunity to take on an Animal Sitting business, walking dogs, visiting cats, it’s something I have always wanted. However, I have not worked since my accident and don’t have a penny to my name!

I need to raise £2200 to buy the business (including a van).

I am a real animal lover and already have a dog and 5 rescue kitties!
