Help start an alternative wrestling promotion in Uganda

Hi there, I'm Alexander aka Lord White and you may know me from when I became the greatest heel in professional wrestling today.

I am currently looking for your help with startup capital to begin an alternative wrestling promotion here in Uganda.

For those that don't know, the owner of the current main wrestling promotion here in Uganda was recently exposed for embezzling tens of thousands of dollars that was donated in good faith and keeping the talent in dire conditions, without pay and charging them for food/board.

Ever since the extent of the corruption was known, me and my partners have been working to find investors within Uganda who could provide capital/use of facilities - but getting anything done here is a slow process and we can't waste any more time trying to get this off the ground.

Your donation will enable me and others to be able to work full-time on building this from nothing, as well as paying all talent involved in creating the greatest sports entertainment seen yet in Africa - until we are able to turn it into a profitable business. It will also be used to register our promotion within Uganda (we have a name in mind, which will be revealed soon) as well as set up company bank accounts.

The other wrestling promotion here became famous for having no ring, and not only will we not have a ring (at the start anyway) but we have no muddy field either so expect a lot of very creative venues for matchups.

If we are able to reach or get close to our donation goal, I plan to spend November scouting locations around Kampala as well as recruiting talent with the goal of being able to produce a weekly show comparable to WWE/AEW/TNA (think full matches, promos, onscreen graphics, music, commentary, etc) uploaded onto YouTube every Sunday starting December 8th with a schedule following this timetable after:

Mon-Tues: Filming

Wed-Fri: Editing

Saturday: early release video (more info later)

Sunday: full release on Youtube

In addition to that, we aim to have have quarterly PPV/PLE-style "main events" available exclusively for paid members via a forthcoming Patreon page, as well as regular video clips properly formatted and shared via various social media channels.

Who Am I?

Before ascending to the role of Lord White I have done many things which I think makes me the best person to be able to pull off what we're trying to achieve here. I have a degree in Games Design with a focus on interactive narrative storylines, and in addition to that I have worked extensively as an DJ/actor within Uganda - performing at music festivals as well as doing film, television and theatre.

With my experience I will be able to create engaging storylines that will show every wrestler at their true potential, as well as being able to help them act and choose their preferred face/heel dynamic. I would love to raise the profile of the talent here so much that the big wrestling companies come and give them a chance to perform overseas.

But Lord White! We've already sent so much money to Uganda already!

That's true, and I'm only resorting to this to get things going here - if this fundraiser fails, this plan will still happen (albeit much slower). I will also be providing expense receipts to independent observers in order to reassure everyone that everything is on the level.
