Where to Begin...

WE NEED EVERYBODY'S HELP !!!

For those of you who don't know, Nathan was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016. Nathan being, how to say this, a very rare kind of guy who is not afraid to say it how it is, will go to the ends of earth to help family and friends, have a full conversation with random people out fishing just to have a laugh and make other people laugh. He goes above and beyond for his wife Kirsty and their three beautiful daughters. It somehow turned out that his tumor was a also a rare type of tumor.

Nathan had undergone a surgery in 2017 to try and have the tumor removed however, due to where the tumor was located, only a small amount was removed. The surgery was not only expensive but very tough for his family, friends but most of all Nathan.

4 years on and if this world hasn't done enough already, there is now a larger tumor growing next to the original tumor. The only treatment for this now is 6 and 1/2 weeks of daily Radiation and 6 months of chemotherapy. To add to this he is not eligible for life insurance as this is a terminal illness. However both the ATO AND SUPER FUNDS are saying Nathan's cancer is not classified as a terminal illness. This means that both Nathan and Kirsty cannot access their superfunds on compassionate grounds, as as terminal illness, because this would require a specialist to state that he has less than 24months to live. Yet the whole idea of chemotherapy and radiation is to prolong someone's life. They have been advised to not pay their mortgage repayments for 6 months so they can receive a foreclosure letter to access their superfunds. Yet doing this will result in future mortgage problems. To make things worse, Nathan does not qualify for temporary loss of income as Nathan would like to try and work 2 days a week to keep his business, that he has worked so hard for, afloat whilst having radiation and chemotherapy.

We are reaching out to help support this beautiful family through this rough road ahead. We would greatly appreciate any help be it family, close friends, friends, friends of friends, those random people he loves to chat with whilst fishing. The word needs to be spread, any donation big or small this will go a long way. We would love to be able to take that financial burden off the family whilst they worry about Nathan's treatments.

The go fund me page asked for a time and goal. There should not be a time on when we reach this so-called "goal" and there should not be a goal set as you cannot put a price on prolonging someone's life.

Lets all help Nathan and his beautiful family so he can spend more time watching his family grow and more time trying to catch that 3 meter flatty.
