Start our new life in Florida

I have decided it would be best and safest for us to leave the state due to an abusive situation. We have family in Florida and plan to re build our life there.

I have a small amount of money to start with, but I am seeking help with the trip down.

Anything would be greatly appreciated and go towards the uhaul, gas, food, hotel room for one or possibly two nights, and a deposit on a storage unit for when we arrive.

More than happy to answer any questions or concerns from our family and friends, and we would love to see everyone we can before we go!

Our uhaul is already reserved with a $1225 deposit. Storage unit is reserved, which is $200. Hotel rooms for at least one night, possibly two (I've never driven a giant truck, let alone a giant truck across the country full of cats, plants, and kids so I'll definitely be taking my time...) will be at least $200-$300. Then I'm thinking $300-400 for gas (my car and the big truck?). ((Just to lay out where the majority of my budget is going))
