Starting over @ 64 Lou Ann Barton

    Starting over at 64 isn’t easy, as Lou Ann Barton, one of Austin's most beloved blues singers, can tell you. Last year she lost her job with the band she had been working with for 17 years.

For the past year she has tried to sustain a living but living from gig to gig, the rent and bills are getting hard to pay. Add to this the costs of medical issues and it's become even harder. Soon she’s not going to be able to pay everything.

I’m asking all of her friends and fans, let’s help get her, and her music going again. Think of her, and her musical talent and her voice, she has brought us so much joy. Any amount would be greatly appreciated,
