Starting Over For Eric

Hi, my name is Eric and I'm fund raising to help me rewrite a new chapter in my life and career. I am presently 56 years old and was a caregiver for my 94 year old father for the past several years. The pandemic and caring for my dad have both limited the time I had to pursue my former small business as a personal trainer. I used to train people in their homes, or in my own small home gym and that was no longer an option for the last year and a half. Caring for my dad has been my most rewarding role ever, along with helping him care for my mom during her last years with Alzheimer's. The past several years have taken a toll on me financially, as well as emotionally. Since my dad has passed away I need to rewrite my story. I have practiced and written (now blogged) about meditation and spirituality for well over 30 years and feel that this is my chance to teach others the art of meditation, as well as being a Health  and Life Coach. I'd like to be a guiding presence for others during their own time of grief and suffering, to help them reduce stress,  sleep better, and improve their diet and stay active and healthy. I'd like to extend my role as caregiver. Deepak Chopra has been a long time inspiration for me and I have practiced his Primordial Sound Meditation technique for 20+ years now. I hope to work my way through his full, three level coaching program. This is my opportunity to reinvent myself and offer care through wider means.  Any help is appreciated.
