Starting over fund for Brittney

My name is Jocelyn and my best friend in the whole world and her 13 year old daughter have just escaped a life of torment by a dangerous predator. Britney’s husband just plead guilty to unspeakable crimes against her and her daughter spanning over the last 5 years. This remarkably brave and amazing young girl came forward to save herself and her mother. I personally drove Brittney home from work that terrible day making a 45 minute drive from her work to her house in 17 minutes. As allegations of unthinkable abuse came to light, so did the evidence. Finally after a year of being tormented by her now incarcerated ex-husband, finally there is closure with a guilty plea. The home the family lived in is no longer a safe place. They have been looking for a place to move and found nothing. Brittney works full time and makes a good living wage. I would know, I also work with her. She has never once asked for anything other than justice for her daughter which she finally received. There is no one more deserving of a chance to start over than these 2 people. The support of her ex husbands younger siblings has been greatly appreciated, they are also trying to understand and deal with this atrocity. It’s been a heartbreaking and overwhelmingly difficult time for everyone involved. It’s not easy having your entire life taken from you in the most brutal and tragic way and it doesn’t get any easier without a home to heal in.
