Starting Over - Marietta Tornado April 27

April 27, 2024. A day our family, as well as many many other Oklahomans will NEVER forget.

Last night our parents home was destroyed. Their home wasn’t JUST any home. It was the heart of our entire family. It’s the place that all 10 grandkids grew up and called, “Mimi & Papa’s home.” It’s the place that as soon as you walk through the door, no matter who you are, you were welcomed with open arms. Everything they’ve poured into this home is gone. The only thing they have left are the memories and boy does that hurt. Walking into what used to be the living room, where all the memories were made. Where every laugh, every tear and every heart felt moment took place. It felt like a dream. A dream you could never wake up from. Our parents would NEVER ask for anything but We are setting up this GoFundMe to help with anything and everything, but the most important need is prayers! Prayers are appreciated as our parents learn to navigate this next chapter in their lives.
