Small Hope Bay Foundation start-up funding

We invite you to help us in making a difference!

We are raising money to benefit the new 501(c)3 Small Hope Bay Foundation. A very generous philanthropist has created a matching challenge grant. If we can raise $50,000 they will match this. Your donation will be doubled!

The mission of the Small Hope Bay Foundation is to create a thriving environmental and economically sustainable future for the island of Andros for the benefit of current and future generations. The Foundation achieves this mission by protecting the island’s marine ecosystems and educating local residents, particularly children.

Your generous donation will help us restore the coral reefs by establishing coral nurseries and replanting healthy coral, installing permanent moorings so anchors don't damage the reefs, Urchin outcropping efforts for reef health and perhaps most importantly, we provide swimming and SCUBA lessons to certify residents as PADI divers and instructors to provide them economic opportunities they presently do not have.
