Starving cat abandoned in vacant house needs care

On New Year’s Eve I went to an open house where I found 2 cats outside on the porch begging to come inside. I soon learned they belong to the owners of the house. The owner went into assisted living and when the house went up for sale the cats were kicked out of the house. We rescued the two cats and soon learned there were more of them. We found 4 more of them outside in the cold and got all six of them eventually into 3 different local rescues.

just when we thought our job was done I got a text from the owners family telling me there was another cat found INSIDE the house. The poor thing was left alone in the house with no food for months. She is skin and bone. She is at the emergency vet right now and I just got an estimate for her care and it will be no less than $1,200-$1,400. That’s if she doesn’t have to stay over night. If you could help send a few dollars our way to help cover the cost for this poor baby we’d really appreciate it. She didn’t deserve this.
