Urgent Help Needed for Córdoba, Argentina: Wildfires Are Devastating Our Community

Dear friends and kind-hearted supporters,

My homeland, Córdoba, Argentina, has been burning uncontrollably since September 19th. The devastation is unimaginable—entire families have lost their homes, wildlife has been wiped out, and ranchers are witnessing their animals suffering in the flames. It’s a tragedy that words can hardly describe.

Our brave firefighter brigade, all volunteers, are doing everything they can to fight these fires. But they are working with minimal resources, lacking even the basic necessities like boots, goggles, headlamps, water, food, and fruit to sustain them during these long, grueling hours. Despite their heroic efforts, the government has not declared a State of Emergency, and our pleas for help are going unanswered.

I’m raising funds not only to support the Bomberos Voluntarios de La Cumbre—the volunteer fire brigade from my hometown—but also to provide aid to San Marcos Sierras and organizations helping animals who survived but are severely burned. These heroes and these suffering animals need our immediate help.

Every donation will go directly to purchasing essential equipment and supplies for the firefighters, as well as supporting the care of the injured animals. No contribution is too small.
