Status Code 14 London to Paris Triathlon

SC14 is a charity fund that seeks to support the mental health of armed forces, it’s veterans and blue light workers following PTSD stress and anxiety. As a serving member of the armed forces there is an expectation that we suffer from war experiences but what is often overlooked is the blue light workers who see awful things every single day. Every single shift could leave scars and pain that over a period accumulates to a mental break. SC14 seek to offer help and support as this is not provided automatically by their employers. The NHS is creaking under the burden of the whole population following recent events so having a dedicated route will support those who do so much for us, often without thanks, and get them back to 100%.
In order to garner your financial support three friends and I have decided to complete a huge triathlon. This will be a Channel swim, followed by a cycle of the distance from Calais to Paris, culminating with a run from Dover to Marble Arch in London.
A 21 mile swim, followed by a 187 mile cycle, followed by a 87 mile run. All in relay, non stop one hour moving and three hours resting/recovering/dying slowly....
I hope that you agree that this is a worthy cause, and its worth is being matched with an equally crazy (and painful) event.
