The Stauffer Family House Fire Fund

My grandparents, Paul and Rosetta Stauffer, tragically lost their home to a multiple alarm fire the morning of January 27th in York Springs. My grandfather was home at the time and luckily escaped with minor burns. He waited almost three hours to deliver the news to my grandma, as he knew she would be devastated.

My grandparents just celebrated their 50th anniversary. They bought their home in 1972 where they raised three beautiful children. My grandfather is a very handy man and ran his own automotive business. He built an addition on to their home for his garage he named "Ridge Road Repair" after the road they lived on. His business was still in service the day the fire took it away.

My grandfather, 85 years young, risked his life attempting to save a customer’s car from his shop. Thankfully escaping in time with only mild burns. He is a very courageous, generous man and always puts others before himself.

 

My grandparents lost everything in the fire.

 

I have created this page in the hopes to raise money for my grandparents. The money would go towards immediate needs, temporary housing, and to a new start.
