Let's keep Shahar in our community

Our beautiful friend, Shahar, is at risk of having to leave Australia. Unfortunately, Shahar has faced some complications obtaining a visa and she needs all the help that she can get to fund an immigration lawyer to resolve the matter.

Shahar is a bright light in many people's lives, bringing love and joy to friends and families in the Brunswick community. Her vibrant energy and big hair make her a star attraction at Old Maids, particularly among the dogs and kiddos, where she concocts the most delicious smoothies and acai bowls. She has a love like no other for kids and dogs, the best babysitter and dogsitter in all of the Byron Shire. Her baking skills rival those of wedding cake makers and she has the voice of an angel, working on completing her album to release her music to the world. She can't walk down the street without someone calling out to her. A pure ray of sunshine and a massive treasure of our community, it would be a crime to let her leave the country!

Shahar has found an immigration lawyer to help with her case but the fees are expensive. We're looking to raise $3000 in donations to help fund 50% of the costs that will be incurred by Shahar to try to stay in the country.
