Please Help Grace and Gia

This past weekend proved to all of us that life is so short and anything can happen at any time. This Go Fund Me is for a friends daughter and granddaughter who had a horrible accident on Saturday. Grace is a single mom and her daughter is her life.

This accident took place on  route 15 and Lovetsville road in Loudoun County VA. 

On Saturday 2/19/2022

Grace was taking her 4 year old daughter, Gia, to get ice cream, and while driving, a tree fell on their car where a branch went through the windshield. Grace was pinned in the vehicle impaled by a 5 inch branch. Gia was unharmed, and sat in the back seat as Grace and Gia coached each other through this traumatic event.

Grace was airlifted to the trauma ICU. To date, Grace has undergone 3 surgeries to her abdomen and multiple blood transfusions due to the immense blood loss from the impalement. The branch damaged various vital organs and major blood vessels. As of today, 2/21, grace is waiting on a surgery to close her abdomen.

We are unsure when Grace will be able to return to work as she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Grace is without any income until she is able to return to work. Grace is the sole provider for Gia. Gia thrives in her routine. Being able to get Gia the necessary psychological help, and being able to return to her sense of normalcy at school, will be vital for Gia’s recovery.

Grace and Gia have an unbreakable bond.

Grace is a determined young woman and has goals and dreams to pursue for herself and her child. Grace is a dental assistant in a pediatric dental office.

We believe Grace and Gia are miracles and we are so thankful to have them with us.
