Our staff certainly has been through the ringer this year. We hired a whole new staff, trained for weeks, and opened March 12th. I think we all know why we had to furlough the entire staff on March 16th.
Thankfully, we were able to reopen on July 7th with pandemic restrictions while retaining a good portion of our original staff. It breaks our hearts to now close a second time due to a kitchen fire.
This wonderful group of people have been through more than we can explain here both personally and professionally, working a total of 5 weeks in 4 months while trying to support themselves and their families.
With an uncertain reopening date ahead of us yet again, we're asking for any amount that you can donate to this selfless and inspiring team. Many of them are still dealing with difficulties filing for unemployment dating back to the start of the pandemic.
We would like to reiterate our commitment to donating 100% of any money donated to our hourly staff. No owners or salary employees will receive a cent, this is all for the people that make running a restaurant possible.
We will be posting proof in the future that your donations are being allocated properly to the people that need them most. Thank you again friends, be safe.
