Stearns Homestead

It is with a heavy heart that we tell you that we have lost two goats and a sheep to a senseless attack that occurred at Stearns Homestead on Halloween night. Puncture wounds and/or lacerations were were found on all the sheep and goats in the large shed. 
We are sad, frightened and concerned that this has occurred on the Homestead.
We want our animals and volunteers to feel safe. Our community has generously begun to  offer their resources and donations to cover the veterinary services, the internet with a security system and to cover the ongoing cost of its services. Thank you.
