We tragically lost Shayne Robinson this past Friday evening. The news of his passing and the loss of our dear friend and colleague has been both devastating and heartbreaking. He leaves behind his wife and love of his life, Stefanie Robinson, his daughter and two young sons, 6 & 3 years old. Every person who knew Shayne was touched by him. He was a best friend to anyone he crossed paths with. You've never wanted to smile faster or hug harder than when spending time with Shayne. Shayne has made an incredible impact on the lives of so many.
Shayne worked at Van Metre homes for the past 7 years and had worked at DR Horton and KB Homes during his award winning career. Shayne was a consummate professional, impacting hundreds of families throughout Northern Virginia. Shayne won numerous industry awards including NVBIA's Sales Manager of the Year along with Gala's Outstanding Sales Team.
For his family, there was no better dad and husband, playing with the boys, hiking trails, and riding bikes. For his friends, Shayne always was available to chat and always made a point to check in and make sure things were going ok. At work, he helped countless people build new homes and was adored by his clients. Shayne always put others first.
We ask that you give generously to support Shayne's family, He was the breadwinner, and significantly helped to provide for Stefanie, his wife and life-partner, and his incredible children. Supporting them helps each of us carry on his legacy through school and in life and health. We've created 3 milestones; an immediate one of $100K to support the family in this time, the next goal of $100K per child for college tuition for an total ultimate goal of $400K.
