Stand beside Stefanie’s family—Stefanie Aten fund
Donation protected
July 10th Update: Thank you to the many donors who helped us reach our initial goal. We are keeping the fundraiser going in hopes of helping the family to a greater degree in the wake of this tragic circumstance. Not only will the donations help with funeral expenses but also help with medical bills and other expenses incurred because of this awful illness. With school age children still living at home now without their mother, this brings added expenses. Her absence leaves such a hole in her home and family. Would you join us to offer hope and a helping hand to this grieving family? Help us shine a bright light in their dark days.
Let’s keep it going and see if we can reach this second goal then raise it again!
July 5th update: Stef suffered a medical emergency on Friday, January 13, 2023, after a fun Friday night watching her kids play basketball. In the coming days tumors were discovered, and she was given the official diagnosis of brain cancer...a devastating and shocking piece of news to hear.
But Stef was confident God would heal her! On July 5, 2023, she was fully healed as she stepped onto heaven's shores. She left behind so many to grieve her loss especially her husband Jeff and their 6 children ages 12 on up to the mid 20s: Alex, Ali, Jarrett, Jessica, Joshua, and Aaron.
Stef and her family were active in church and prison ministries over the years. They hosted the annual community Thanksgiving Day dinner in Twinsburg, OH, for hundreds of people for many years. She was a model mother dedicated to helping her children succeed in life. The entire family love basketball--it's in their blood--and Stef was her kids' number one fan. She loved her kids' friends too and loved to cheer them on in their game. Stef loved to celebrate--whether it was birthdays, holidays, or victories! She was an empathetic and dedicated friend.
Stef was always looking out for others, helping others, and giving to others. Now it's our turn to make sure Stef's family is taken care of and have one less thing to worry about during these difficult days and the days to come. Would you give AND pray for Stef's family?
