Stefanie Schaffer & Family

Stefanie and Brooke Schaffer were on vacation in the Bahamas with their mother, Stacey, and step-father, Paul Bender.  On Saturday, June 30th the family joined a boat tour to enjoy the sights off the island of Exuma.  The boat burst into flames shortly after 9am.  Stefanie sustained life threatening injuries including a double amputation and remains in critical condition.  Stacey suffered multiple broken bones and internal injuries.  Paul and Brooke suffered cuts and bruises.  Brooke and Stefanie's father, George and brother, George, Jr. are traveling to be with them in the Bahamas.

The Adams School of Dance are raising funds for the medical and travel expenses in hopes of raising $1500, possibly more. Stefanie, Brooke and George, Jr. were dance students for many years and our hearts go out to the entire family.
