Savannah & Wes Steiner's IVF Fundraiser
Hey y'all! We are Savannah & Wes Steiner, married in 2015 and have been on a diligent pursuit to grow our tiny little family for 6 years now. After our first year of marriage, and trying on our own, we were unable to become pregnant. So, in 2016, we were referred to a fertility specialist by my local gynecologist. I will never forget the day I received our first set of results on my lunch break. It took all of the air out of our hopes, hearts and dreams... subfertile. Since then, we have had quite the journey, including three specialists, countless procedures (MRIs, ultrasounds, labs, scopes, etc.), two surgeries, four IUIs and ZERO infertility coverage from our insurance. We've cut corners, saved money, and done what we could to be conservative in our treatments and pay for everything out of pocket along the way. Unfortunately, none of these things have brought us success and it is time for us to move forward with more aggressive treatment, IVF. We've nearly drained our savings accounts, and will be taking on quite a sizable amount of debt to continue reaching for our dreams of becoming pregnant. We NEVER imagined this would be a part of our story or that we would be publicly sharing our biggest wounds and scars in order to ask for help. Yet, here we are.
