Stella is finally making an ALBUM !!

After a few years of singing on social media, I've had tens of thousands of people ask me if I have an album they can listen to. Until now, the answer has been "not yet". But I'm beyond thrilled to announce that I'm finally recording my debut album in June!

$40,000 may seem like a lot of money, but paying for studio time, musicians, engineering, mastering, etc. adds up fast. David Foster agreed to produce Michael Buble's debut album, but only if he could raise $500,000 to cover the costs. (Spoiler alert- he raised the money, and now he's Michael Buble). So in the grand scheme, 40K is a pretty affordable budget. Everything helps - I will be equally as appreciative of your $10 donation as I am of $100. It will mean the world if you can give whatever you can to help get this project off the ground. I'll tell you a little more about myself later, but first, let me tell you about this album.

It will be produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Matt Pierson. He is the manager and producer for Samara Joy, who just won 2 GRAMMYs, including GRAMMY for Best New Artist. Matt previously ran jazz A&R at Warner Records, eventually becoming Executive VP/GM for the label while making Warner an industry leader, garnering dozens of Grammy Nominations and wins and countless #1 singles and albums. He left Warner in 2003 to begin producing for clients like Apple and Sony Masterworks.

We'll be recording some of my favorite standards, musical theatre songs, and of course, some songs made famous by my two biggest inspirations - Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand. We're going to record at Sear Sound, one of the oldest and most well-respected recording studios in New York. GRAMMY Award-winning Chris Allen (Norah Jones, Paul Simon, Jazzmeia Horn) will be engineering this project. It's such an amazing team and I really can't wait to get into the studio.

Now a little more about me! If you're here, you probably know me from my Tiktok or Instagram, where I've grown a following of over 600,000 by singing jazz standards and musical theatre songs. My videos have been reposted and praised by musicians like Michael Buble, James Taylor, and Meghan Trainor. In 2021, I graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in theatre and international relations, a minor in German, and a certificate in musical theatre. In my first year and a half of living in New York, I've been lucky enough to perform in iconic venues like Birdland, 54 Below, Town Hall, Dizzy's Jazz at Lincoln Center, Mezzrow, and most recently at The Cafe Carlyle with Darren Criss. I'm studying voice under two great teachers and mentors - Tony Award-winning vocal coach Joan Lader (Madonna, Cynthia Erivo, Patti LuPone) and the wonderful La Tanya Hall (collaborator of Quincy Jones, Aretha Franklin, and Diana Ross).

I'm so grateful for all the amazing opportunities I've had in the last year, and SO grateful to you for supporting my music in any way that you can. I can't wait to make this album, and I can't wait for you to hear it.
