UPDATE Stella goes in for her MRI tomorrow morning at 10:30AM at Alemedia East Animal Hospital. At that time they would need to do surgery, should it be required, since she will already be under anesthesia. They do not want to put her under anesthesia twice. Surgery is highly likely due to Stella being paralyzed since Friday. The remaining balance for surgery is $4,000. I am raising the goal to another $4,000 so we can help Stella make a full recovery. Time is urgent, every dollar counts. We love and appreciate you all and thank you for the donations so far to make the MRI possible!!! This is Stella for those of you who don't know her. Stella is my sister and brother in laws Doggy. My heart just breaks for Stella and her family right now. She is the sweetest girl and full of life only 8 years old. She injured herself this Friday night in the backyard. Steffon found her outside in a bad state and she could not walk. He rushed her to the animal emergency hospital. They gave her some medication and said if she wasn't better to come back in the morning. Pour little girl is not better. I spent 3 hours with my sister at the E.R saturday morning because Stella can not move. She is paralyzed right now. The doctor suggested an MRI after examining her she cleary has a spinal cord injury. The MRI is going to cost $3,000 dollars. It has been a very emotional weekend for Cassi and Steffon to see there sweet little pup not be able to move. After talking with the doctor they decided to try a more conservative approach and do steroids and muscle relaxers keeping her completely confined for the weekend in a kennel in hopes this will help the Inflammation go down and get her on her feet again. They had a follow up appt today and Stella will need an MRI and most likely spinal surgery. I prayed all weekend for them please let her get better. I want to do all I can to help them save her life. If Stella does not get surgery she will have to be put down. Sometimes we all just need help but never want to ask. I have created this go fund me In hopes to help raise the money to give Stella another chance. We are starting with an Mri at Alemedia East Animal Hospital 9770 E Alameda Ave, Denver, CO 80247. I spoke with there neurological department and the MRI will cost $3,000 and we will go from there on next steps. They said surgery with Mri will be around 6-7 thousand but we have to get MRI done first before we can get an exact quote so for know I am trying to raise $3,000 for the MRI. This is emotionally and financially devastating and just not possible to do on there own. Please share every little bit counts. Time is extremely critical for Stella. Much love to all
