Stem cells to help my Multiple Sclerosis symptoms
Donation protected
I am a 51 year old mother to 4 kids & a certified speech-language pathologist living with multiple sclerosis. I follow my doctors’ advice, take my prescribed MS medication, do daily exercise and eat a healthy well-balanced diet.
Nevertheless, it affects the way I walk (I use a cane or a walker and require a wheelchair for longer trips) and my ability to do household activities (I need daily help) and my capacity to maintain employment.
After speaking with people with my condition about how stem cell treatment helped them to walk better and improve many other symptoms, I decided this was worth pursuing.
Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by medical insurance.
The only issue is the prohibitive costs involved: roughly $25, 000 plus travel and lodging expenses.
Any help people can offer me would be so greatly appreciated!
