STEM trip to Costa Rica
Donation protected
As an eighth grader at American Academy, I could have the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica for a STEM trip. There, we get to work with real conservationists and researchers to learn about on-going conservation efforts to help preserve marine and rain forest ecology. In addition to these studies, we get to go on great adventures like whale watching and zip lining! I am motivated to raise money for this trip because my parents said that it’s too expensive. I will also be working this summer, mowing and edging lawns, and maybe walking dogs. (Send my mom a note, if you are interested in my services!) In seventh grade, I got to go on the STEM trip to Catalina Island, and I got inspired to become a marine biologist. Someday, I would like to help save the oceans! Please consider making a donation, so that I can participate in this once in a lifetime experience! Thank you, Cheston
