STEMsteps Early Learning Building Fund

STEMsteps is a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization dedicated to improving children’s lives by providing highly engaging, whole-child centered, STEM-based curriculum for young children. STEMsteps' mission is to help children develop a life-long love for learning. The emphasis is on intellectual learning, unlike learning by repetition and memorization, STEMsteps' encourages students to make broader connections and develop critical thinking skills.
School choice is a valuable option for an alternative to traditional school programs. Traditional programs focus little on the integration of subjects in the early years. School choice is limited in Pennsylvania. Opening a school of choice for children in North Pittsburgh, would give families an alternative for their child’s education.  A school such as STEMsteps would give more families the opportunity for specialized programs. STEMsteps goal is to raise funds for the purchase and renovations of a school building   Obtaining a school location is the first step in this process.
