Step up for Jay!

friends and family , my names zury. I am jays sister whos here to tell his unfortunate story that has sadly affected his family and his own life. On february 1st , 2021 jay was shot through his front door multiple times that almost caused him to lose his life. He saved his first son from the first bullet and his other baby boy from the second. Hes a real life hero and were thankful to god hes still here today. Were still trying to figure out why someone so evil would do such a horrific thing to this innocent family. Thankful to his wife and close friend who also witness this for helping save his life after he got shot because we almost lost him. The process to recovery has not been easy at all. He had to have two massive surgerys to fix his lung and save his organs. We know its going to take a while for him to be back to himself but with the help and love from friends and family jay will be back to himself again one day. The shooting has now left my brother critically injured and hes fighting to get back to himself. The extent of my brothers injuries are known to be two fractured ribs, two gun shots, two reconstructive surgeries and stomach surgery. But through it all we remain prayerful as he continues to undergo therapy and heal day by day from this horrible event. He has to move with his family and start over and we ask that you support them through this , pray for us and send us love and light. This fund is established to cover my brothers medical expenses, mental and healing counseling for his family and to assist his family in the days to come as we continue to seek JUSTICE for Jay! A portion of these proceeds will also be used to benefit his two sons liam and logan, some of whom witnessed this horrific act of violence and with time will be their two sweet happy baby boys again. Please send prayers, love and encouraging messages to his wife and to him now that hes recovering. They need it and i know its helping them day by day to look ahead for their bright future, because regardless of the storm theres always a sun at the end of road.
