Step Up for Scott
Donation protected

The New Tripoli Fire Company needs to help one of its own. Scott Koenig is facing a challenging road to recovery. In September of 2023, he underwent a life-changing leg amputation below the knee. Just as he was adjusting to this new chapter, a significant setback occurred. In February, after only one day of walking on his prosthetic, Scott was hospitalized, and doctors determined that his knee needed to be removed. Now, he must begin his recovery journey once again. Alongside his wife Jean, Scott is navigating an uncertain future, filled with medical expenses, the need for a new wheelchair, prosthetic, vehicle modifications, and home adjustments.
For the past 17 years, Scott has been an integral part of the New Tripoli Fire Company, dedicating himself to serving his community. Currently serving on the Board of Directors, Scott has worn many hats within the organization, from firefighter to truck engineer. He is the mastermind behind the fire company's most significant fundraiser, best known as "The Bash," which has generated essential funds for mortgage payments, fire trucks, equipment, and training.
Now, it's our turn to support Scott and Jean. Although they may never ask for help, every contribution will be immensely valued and appreciated. Scott remains optimistic about returning to his passions, particularly his love for fishing.
Let's rally together and show our support for Scott Koenig's journey. Please consider donating in any way you can to help ease the financial burden on this resilient family.
The Scott Koenig Medical Expenses Fund has also been opened at the New Tripoli Bank for Donations.
