overcoming paralysis

Dear reader thank you for your interest in my journey to recovery. I’m 26 years old with a spinal cord injury that took place on July 19, 2015. I was riding my bicycle to work in downtown Miami recently becoming a new resident from New Jersey. Reason being i was chasing my dance dream. i wanted to become part of the art district in Miami to share my talent in dance with teaching, performing and competing. Currently today I haven’t allowed the paralysis from my waist down stop me from achieving my goals. Every year has been completely different in adjusting and progressing. I have gained more strength in standing and taking steps with AFO leg braces and a walker. Which at one point after injury it never seem possible to do and one day hoping that I would be able to stand and walk again and god willing to dance. I’m currently a resident in Florida near Orlando and acquainted myself with the center of recovery and exercise in Altamonte Springs, they have supported me with a great team to work on body strength & awareness, it has been a great experience and I think continuing this therapy will keep making a big impact on my body to recovery. I’m currently falling short due to paying a year worth of therapy in ft Lauderdale for the year of 2017. Moving forward in the year of 2019 I’m also working with a accupuncturist who has helped me with great progress these past 6 months. My goal is to be able to gain full strength and ability to be independently walking again. I would greatly appreciate your donation or sharing this go fund me account. Thank you for your time!
