Steph and Dave's bills

My sister Steph Zagalak and brother-in-law Dave Brown need your help.

Dave Brown has had issues with kidney stones for close to 20 years, and towards the end of January 2023 the pain was worse, but different. He had surgery on the 2nd of February where they discovered there was a serious issue, had a nephrostomy tube inserted on the 3rd of February. It was later revealed that his right kidney was only at 7% function and needed to be removed.

On the 9th of February 2023 the right kidney was removed, and while still recovering from losing his right kidney, Dave started having complications with his left kidney and was admitted to Orange Hospital on the 26th of March where a rare vascular condition was discovered. It is restricting the blood flow to his kidney putting it in danger.

Right now, Dave is in Orange Hospital awaiting transfer to RPA where the specialist vascular team will be performing major surgery to try to save his remaining kidney. We do not want him to need dialysis when he isn’t even 40 yet and will do anything to prevent him from needing it.

In the meantime, medical and household bills keep on coming in, and Dave and Steph are feeling the pinch with Dave not being able to work since January. They would be eternally grateful for any assistance they can get.
