Stephanie Martinez (Cisneros)

On Saturday, October 1st, after a courageous year-long battle with cancer, Stephanie passed away, surrounded by her husband, Alberto, her children, and dear family and friends.

With every part of her, every tear, every fear, she faced illness head-on, leading with her profound faith in God and her devotion towards her husband and her kids. Until the very end, Stephanie was a warrior.

She was an advocate and maternal force for so many. Her guidance to all the people around her carried tender encouragement and a sweet kick in the butt. She was a loving momma to her beautiful children and stepson, but also for so many souls she met along her journey.

We are trying to raise funds for her memorial and service, in addition for Alberto, who throughout the year had to cut his work hours to be by his wife's side during this battle. Even if it's $1, it will all help us honor our sweet Stephanie and give my brother a little bit of breathing room as he grieves for his beautiful wife.

As his little sister, watching him have to go through this is devastating. If there is some respite we can give him, it would mean everything.
