Help Stephanie Gaudry with all expenses not covered

Hi this is Stephanie Neufeld and Melissa Ping and we are writing on behalf of our friend/mom of 2 boys Stephanie Gaudry.

On Saturday January 4, 2025, Stephanie was taken to Grand Forks hospital due to Strep A infection. While there she intubated and placed in a medically induced coma. Then was sent to Trail Hospital for the night. While there her kidneys shut down and have been operating at 0%. She was placed on kidney dialysis and has been receiving dialysis since. The next day she was sent to Kelowna Hospital and has remained there since in the ICU. Due to the aggression of the Strep A infection she has been told there will be amputations done to her toes and hands. On Monday Jan. 13 they lifted the sedation and has been awake since and has learned that she will be having surgery. We have decided to start this Gofundme to help with the costs that will be incurred due to the amputations for future physio and occupational therapy or medical appointments that Stephanie will be needing before she can come home to her 2 boys. As well as after care she may need. All money that is raised will go right to Stephanie.
