STEPHANIE HERNANDEZ - A LIFE SPENT HELPING OTHERS
Donation protected
Stephanie Hernandez has been selflessly taking care of people her whole life.
Four years ago, Stephanie moved home to the house she grew up when her grandmother and her mom developed significant health issues. These are the last two people she was close to in her family. Her grandmother had collapsed and become partially handicapped with heart issues requiring meals, care and financial support. To compound matters, Stephanie’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer for the third time and began another scary fight with chemotherapy. .
Stephanie was their rock. Stephanie has been working since she was 13 years old, always contributing to her family and helping to provide food and cover medical bills. Shortly after moving home her grandmother passed away, leaving only Stephanie and her mom.
Stephanie’s mom never fully recovered from her third bout with cancer. Needing support and growing financial assistance, Stephanie continued to work and committed her time and financials to help her mother. Three months ago Stephanie’s mother started having serious health complications and was diagnosed with blood cancer. Her mother was scared as she began a fourth battle with the deadly disease. Immediately she began having bad reactions to chemotherapy. Stephanie continued working full time but found time to take her mother to doctor appointments and to care for her her in all her free hours.
Sadly Stephanie’s mom died yesterday……..the doctors are unsure about the actual cause but its related to complications from chemotherapy and battling cancer.
Many of you have asked what you can do and where to send flowers. Flowers are nice but Stephanie has a lot of bills to pay to cover four years of medical expenses and now another set of burial expenses.
So this is how you can help her. Instead of sending flowers or the food many have offered, contribute to this fund. We know she will appreciate your making her life just a little bit easier in this really tough time.
Stephanie always has a smile on her face and is someone who could really use your support.
