Love and Support for Stephanie Machado

Hello, friends and family,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of my incredible best friend, Stephanie Machado. On Sunday night, she suffered a devastating accident. As she was preparing for work, she experienced severe dizziness, loss of consciousness and collapsed. She sustained multiple serious injuries including the fracture of her C1 and C2 vertebrae, three fractured ribs, a concussion, a laceration above her left eye requiring eight stitches, and a broken jaw on the left side. She now faces a long recovery ahead.

As a dedicated single mom of two, hardworking nursing student and passionate healthcare worker, Stephanie has always been the first to lend a helping hand to others in need. Her love for God, her family and friends shines through in everything she does.

Due to her injuries, Stephanie will be unable to work for at least six weeks and is currently unable to drive, which puts her in a challenging financial situation. As a single mother, the burden of medical expenses and everyday living costs is overwhelming.
