Stephanie McNutt Funeral and Memorial

My name is Austin Gilstrap-Turner and I spent many years as Steph's best friend. I spent just as much time with her family as I did mine, and they helped me through some of the roughest times in my life. From running around as raggedy kids making good-natured-mischief in Speedway, IN, to watching her raising 2 AMAZING kids and running her own business as a chic high-end colorist and stylist, I watched her grow into a fierce, beautiful, friend, mother, sister, daughter, and partner. She touched everyone she met in some way or another and never relented when someone she loved or anyone in need was being mistreated, disrespected, or bullied. She was challenged more recently in life, going through a rare illness and 2 motor vehicle accidents. We are raising funds to provide funeral and memorial services, and remaining funds will be used for Abigail's and Dominic's education.

**Playing and watching basketball at Speedway Park.
**Playing freeze tag/ Ghost-in-the-graveyard/ hide-and-go-seek in Carriage House West.
**Sneaking over to Zore’s to mess with the junkyard dogs.
**Calling “HANDS” on anyone who did something stupid.
**Running around and playing TAG in CUB FOODS.
**Stephanie getting in stupid fights with people at Ben Davis JR High even though she went to private school.
**Sledding down the hill behind the Speedway water treatment plant.
**Going for tours of Steven’s Mortuary with the mortician during the summer.
**Trick-or-Treating in all of the nicer Speedway neighborhoods in order to get the full size candy bars.
**Riding bikes up to Mug’N’Bun to get root beer, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings.
**Going to the St. Christopher’s Summer Festival, EVERY YEAR!!
**Trying to get up the snow and ice covered hill at the entrance to Carriage House West especially when we were new drivers.
