Stephanie Norman Health Expenses
Donation protected
Almost 2 years ago at the age of 22 Stephanie was diagnosed with stage 2 colon cancer and underwent emergency surgery to have half of her colon removed and started chemo therapy. She was finally just getting back to normal life as a twenty something year old when she began having horrible migraine headaches and numbness on the left side of her body which her oncologist told her was a lingering affect from the chemotherapy she received, until they became worse and a MRI of her was done to reveal a brain tumor! Steph is scheduled for surgery at kaiser in Redwood City on July 6th to remove what they can of the mass, send it in for pathology to find out what it is and place a shunt to drain fluid build up but we are still seeking other opinions to make sure she receives the best care possible. Medical bills and travel expenses to and from the Bay Area are starting to pile up and we are anticipating chemo and/or radiation will also be needed but will cross that bridge when we get to it.
