In honor of Stephanie Robin Misty Reyes

Dear friends and family,

As many of you have already heard, Stephanie Robin Misty Reyes, tragically passed unexpectedly this week. Stephanie was a rock in her family. She played a vital role in her children’s and her grandchildren’s lives. She was an adoring sister, mother (and segregate mother), auntie, grandmother, partner, and friend. At only 51 years old, she had so much more to offer her loved ones and this world. This loss to her family is beyond measure.

Stephanie was deeply reliable and a consistent positive force to those that she cared for, especially during the most difficult of times. Stephanie deeply valued education and at times worked to help not only her family, but her community to fight social injustice. Her personal experiences made her a great advocate and dedicated individual in all that she did.

As the aunt to one of her grandchildren, I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of her funeral, and burial expenses. Stephanie’s family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, I am reaching out for the family to the community for help.

Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. We need to raise at least $6,000 as soon as possible in order to cover the cost of Stephanie’s burial and funeral service.
