Help Stephanie pay for her bachelors degree

Hey guys, my name is Stephanie, and I am fundraising to pay for my upcoming

semesters at Baruch College. Currently, I am struggling to pay the amount

needed to earn a Finance degree. Coming from a second-generation

dominican family, I am the first to make it this far; no one has earned a degree

in my family. Although that is an accomplishment, I have struggled to earn my

associate's degree due to the finances needed.

For most of my life, I have supported myself financially. I have had to learn

responsibilities at a very young age and, by 18, live independently.

Because of this, I have struggled with depression, and going back

to school never seemed like an option for me.

Due to eye-opening events during covid, I knew that I needed a degree if I

wanted to secure my future. The cost of college always scared me away, and

although my current job pays for a small portion of my degree, it is not

remotely close to what is needed in order to graduate. With the expenses of

living on my own and paying rent, it is not enough for me to put myself through college.

I am graduating with my associate's this year. I will be earning my Finance

degree within the next two years in 2024.

Anything is appreciated towards earning my education, and I truly am thankful for yall who believe in me. These are the things that I value in the world we live

in today, to be able to ask for help and sincerely pour yourself and know there

are people just like myself who have overcome their internal struggles and are

focused on their future.
