Stephanie Schoon's Stroke Recovery Fund (Mom of 6)
Donation protected
For all those who know and love Stephanie Schoon, we need your help to support her as she continues to recover from the stroke she had back in March of this year. At 48 years old, and a mother of 6 children, her life took an unexpected turn when Stephanie went to bed with a headache and woke up in the hospital having had an aneurysm. After a second aneurysm, she sadly suffered a devasting stroke. It has significantly affected her left side, and left her with an extremely long road to recovery.
To know Stephanie is to know her love of life and adventure. Her love for Jesus is infectious, and her sense of humor is unmatched. She loves others fiercely.
While Steph is blessed to be surrounded by her amazing family and church, as well as friends near and far, the Schoon family needs our financial help to allow Steph to receive the care she needs.
The medical bills are piling up and the Health Share Plan ( a medical sharing plan, not traditional health insurance) they have is not allowing for any more physical therapy. The reality is that without daily and consistent physical therapy progress will not happen. Time is of the essence, and she has not been able to have PT for a few months now. Without it, she will make very little improvement. We hope to be able to provide transportation to and from her appointments, allowing for more independence and help her husband Rick (a pastor) as he navigates the care of their family.
Stephanie’s greatest joy is being a mama to her 6 kids. As you can imagine, this has shaken their world in so many ways. It has been extremely hard on everyone. The Schoon family trusts God in spite of all of this, not asking the why questions, but rather trusting he has better things for all of them in the future.
Receiving help in the way of prayer and donations could significantly improve Stephanie’s quality of life. Please consider giving to allow her to seek the care she needs. We want the Schoon family to have the financial resources during this crucial time. Daily care is truly imperative to Stephanie’s healing. And above all, please continue to keep Stephanie and the Schoon family in your prayers.
