Stephanie & Tracy’s Cancer Fight

Hi there, if you can spare your attention to this important cause, I would be so grateful. 

Just this past Thanksgiving, my good friend and fellow small-biz owner, Stephanie, received devastating news about her husband, Tracy. He was diagnosed with brain cancer and underwent immediate surgery, on his birthday, to remove as much of the aggressive tumor as they could. He will now begin radiation and chemotherapy to attack the portion of the tumor which could not be surgically removed. 

Together at home, they have one 6-year-old boy, 2-year-old twin girls, and Stephanie's Mother to care for, in addition to running the business that supports their family.  Needless to say, this is having an enormous impact on their family in so many ways, and their journey is only just beginning. 

Anyone who has met Stephanie in this small shop community knows she is always the first to lend a helping hand in any way she can. From supporting and giving her 25 years of business advice to shop owners, to providing a listening ear, she is a good friend to so many other moms. Stephanie is always everyone’s cheerleader and Tracy is always behind her, backing her up!

 

Starting with Covid and the subsequent cut-backs on her business, she and Tracy were left running the show together, without employees. Adding in this diagnosis and the time and attention it is taking to advocate & research, while allowing Tracy the rest he needs going into chemo and radiation, it has become physically impossible to run the business in a manner which can fully support their family. 

They need all of our help. Every little bit counts.
