Stephanie Zeitz Education Memorial Fund

As a community of family and friends, we are grieving our loss of someone with a creative mind, generous heart, and kind soul. Steph was a force to be reckoned with. She came in strong and intense because she was a passionate, kind, justice-minded, legend of a woman who taught me more about community and coalition than anyone I’ve ever known and we lost her too soon-46 years was not enough time. 

Steph dedicated her life to cross curricular, alternative education and balanced revolutionary knowledge with generative practical application for social change. We started this fund to help raise money to support educational practices that met the many needs of people left out of traditional systems, organizations, and institutions. We plan to use this fund as a starting place for a benefit we will be holding near her birthday in August to continue her legacy. The money will be donated to various education and social change organizations in her name.
