Support Stephanie's Fight Against Cancer

As many of you know, Stephanie was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer in October, 2018.  It was a shocking and disheartening diagnosis but after aggressive surgery and 3 months of follow-up chemotherapy she is actively recovering and feeling optimistic about her health. There is still a lot of testing and recovery in the near future but her critical initial treatment and care have been completed with success.

This campaign is being organized by Stephanie's friends and loved ones.  Our goal is to raise enough money to put a major dent in Stephanie’s hospital and medical expenses. As a Portland Public School teacher she has been fortunate to have decent medical coverage but the sheer number of visits, procedures and medications combined with her limited ability to work have added up to a substantial amount of debt. 

Those who have spent time with Stephanie know that she gives selflessly to those around her. As a Special Education teacher she helps her students and their families navigate the numerous challenges and difficulties they face. She is a source of love and support for many around her and a devoted mother of three.
