Stephani McMillan is a 28 year old beautiful, cheerful, energetic and full of life woman.

She is involved in her hometown and community in many ways. Her love for the youth is spread across many aspects of things she participates and volunteers with. As she was a cheerleader all through high school she is now continuing her love, passion and energetic spirit as a coach at her hometown high school. In 2012 began coaching the Doddridge County High School Cheerleaders. If you are from Doddridge County you probably remember her by her maiden name Stephani Wilson.

In October 2011 she married her wonderful husband Edward McMillan (Mac) and they will be celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary come this October.

She is the mother to three adorable little ones all under the age of three. They were blessed with their first son Eddie in May 2012. Their sweet baby girl, Tegwin, arrived in August 2013 and their third child, Jack, was born this past September 2014.

She is a strong and selfless woman with a wonderful husband who has been married for almost four years they have had to overcome so much already. They are parents to three babies which as you all know is a lot of work in itself. That is not all though Eddie is also severely autistic and requires expensive therapy every week. Just as Eddie was born a few weeks early so was little Jack who was born just this past September. Jack was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck several times. After Jack had arrived they discovered had a list of things he was fighting against such as respiratory distress, pulmonary hypertension, septic shock & pneumonia in both lungs. After over 3 weeks in the NICU they got to bring him home.

That was just all this past September, barely 10 months ago, and now they are faced with another major challenge.

On June 15, 2015 Stephanie shared with her Facebook friends that she has been diagnosed with stage three non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

On July 1, 2015 she told us that she was faced with even more. In addition to the lymphoma she has something called Bulky Disease. After her PET scan she and her family learned that there's a lot of the disease through her body. They were waiting on test results for something called double hit to come back before starting chemo. But that day the pain in my ribs was unbearable, after a CT scan they saw that the tumors are growing quickly & pressing against her ribs & spine. As a result, she started chemo the next day July 2, 2015. Her doctor is treating the cancer s if it's the double hit (few more drugs in addition to the R-Chop) until test results come back. She will be in the hospital for 4-5 days because they believe her body will better tolerate the chemo if done slowly over a multiple days.

With her most recent post on July 4, 2015 she updated us with the cancer being around her spine and getting close to her brain, my doctor is going to treat it as if it's there. When she receives her rounds of chemo she’ll get a lumbar puncture and have a tiny bit of the chemo placed in the spinal cord. Her cancer has also moved from stage 3 to now being stage 4.

This GoFundMe page was created in her honor in the hope that raising funds for her and her family could really be a big help to them in relieving the worry and stress of finances. Especially as she is spending many days in the hospital and it doesn’t end there. With chemo there is a lot of side effects that come along with it that make you really sick. She won’t be able to work much if any at all during this fight; as well as her husband, Mac, having to reduce his time at work in order to help take care of the kids and be by his wife’s side. I believe passing along a helping hand in the department of finances will benefit them now with their monthly expenses and in the near future with the hospital bills that will come following this all.
If you cannot donate money to the McMillan family that is ok and a great gift of support would be to lift Stephani’s name up in prayer.
