Hello, dad is now fully off life support! He tested positive for covid in the hospital and they are keeping him on a strict quarantine. We are SO THANKFUL he is here. The journey ahead is going to be long and tough. Lots of lifestyle changes, new routines, new meds, etc when he gets home, and THEN we can address the cancer and cancer treatments again.

Hello, during chemo for my dads cancer, he went into cardiac arrest and fell into a coma this past Thursday (3.10). Long story short it was a very fragile and scary week. However my dad is a tough motherfucker and is fighting! He is working his way off full life support right now. He has regained consciousness and is expected to be extubated tomorrow (Monday 3.14). The road to recovery is going to be very long and trying for my dad. Thank you all for the contributions, love and support.

I’m Sydney Choate. My father is Stephen Choate. He is currently battling colon and liver cancer. My father is a hard worker, who never wants to be a burden and will never ask for help. So I am asking for him. We found the cancer very late, so it had already metastasized. As soon as we found the cancer he was immediately sent in for surgery for a port for chemotherapy. In the mean time he has been doing radiation once a day. He is exhausted and in pain and as his only child I would like to make him as comfortable as possible. During this time he will need help paying for his mortgage, his food, bills, etc. I would really love to get him some top of the line supplements and vitamins that are scientifically proven to help increase the benefits of radiation and chemotherapy. I cannot imagine what my father is going through but I want him to know he doesn’t have to do this alone. If you decide you can help, it is so very appreciated. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
