Stephen Corroon Fundraiser
Donation protected
A former colleague of ours at Townmore, Stephen Corroon, is a husband and father to two young children, Hazel, 9 years old, and Billy, 5 years old.
Stephen suffered a life changing event in May 2024 when participating in a cycling event in the Dublin Mountains with his local club, the Lakeside Wheelers. He came off of his bike and suffered a cervicial spine injury leaving him with a permanent neurological deficit, rendering it unlikely that he will have use of his arms or legs again.
Stephen spent nine weeks under the care of the National Spinal Injuries Unit in the Mater Hospital and more recently in Tullamore Regional Hospital.
Further to this devestating event, Stephen's immediate requirements include significant home adaptations, the need for extensive equipment to ensure his safe and dignified care at home as well as the long term input from occupational therapy and physiotherapy personnel.
We will be running numerous events over the coming months up to Christmas, with a view to raising €5,000 or more towards this very worthy cause. Please help us to reach this target.
